Results and Achievements

The UP-RES project has completed its key activities aimed at promoting academic achievement and inclusion of students through resilience building. Below is a summary of what we accomplished together with our partners across Europe.

Methodology Development

We developed an evidence-based methodology for measuring the resilience of immigrant students. This included a comprehensive research report and a peer-reviewed scientific article that provided the theoretical and empirical foundation for the project. The methodology helps educators identify resilience levels and tailor their support strategies accordingly.

E-Learning Portal

We created an online training platform that provides scenario-based student resilience building modules. The platform includes AI-supported videos, interactive tasks, and assessment tools designed to assist teachers and practitioners in their efforts to increase students’ resilience. All materials are available in German, English, Turkish, Greek, and Ukrainian.

Piloting Workshops in Schools

We conducted piloting workshops in schools across partner countries, where teachers and practitioners tested the resilience-building exercises with students. These workshops validated the effectiveness of our approach and provided valuable feedback that shaped the final versions of the teacher guide and classroom activities. The piloting confirmed that structured resilience-building interventions had a positive impact on students’ academic engagement and social inclusion.

Additional Outputs

We also produced a teacher guide with ready-to-use classroom activities and resilience building exercises, an introduction video, and three short social media videos, all disseminated in six languages to maximise the project’s reach and impact across Europe.
